Where there is no accepted standard, the page says so instead of inventing one. Span of control and revenue per employee have no federal benchmark, and no target is published for either. This site does not publish industry benchmark comparisons at all. The comparison that changes a decision is the one against your own previous quarter, which is what the workbook is for.
No figure appears on this site that cannot be sourced. Where the data is not loaded yet, the page says so instead of showing you an estimate. Nothing you type into a calculator leaves your browser: there are no accounts, no logins, and nothing stored, so your numbers are gone the moment you close the tab.
